We’re a close-knit team of five professional biologists— whether we’re wading through Amazon tributaries, snorkeling over coastal reefs, or sampling winding inland rivers, our mission is the same: to capture the beauty and diversity of the world’s fishes through high-quality photography.

With more than 35,000 fish species known to science, and dozens of new species described each year, our archive is always growing. We believe a single striking image can spark curiosity, fuel conservation efforts, and enrich scientific research. That’s why every photograph we upload is freely available for non-commercial educational and research use: from classroom slides and outreach materials to figures in peer-reviewed journal articles.

Our collective expertise in ichthyological fieldwork, taxonomy, and aquatic ecology drives everything we do.
